About Me

My name is Anna, I'm 17 years old and have been enjoying photography for about five years. I use a Nikon D80, and love it (though I wouldn't mind an upgrade). I live on a small farm on a beautiful island in the Pacific NW region of the USA. I have 8 siblings- 5 adopted and 3 biological (sorry boys, girls rule, 6 to 3 in our family!) I have traveled to 7 countries and counting... can't wait to do more! My parents have really encouraged me in my photography and that is probably why I am where I am :) Thanks Mom and Dad!

I am a lovesick worshiper of Jesus, the King of Kings, who is my Papa, Prince of Peace, Everlasting God...  I am in LOVE with Him, and He with me... Nothing can ever deter His love from me, He can never love me less, for He made me in His image.

A verse that I believe the Lord has said is for MY generation is Isaiah 58:6-11:
[Rather] is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every [enslaving] yoke?
Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house--when you see the naked, that you cover him, and that you hide not yourself from [the needs of] your own flesh and blood?
Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, Here I am. If you take away from your midst yokes of oppression [wherever you find them], the finger pointed in scorn [toward the oppressed or the godly], and every form of false, harsh, unjust, and wicked speaking,
And if you pour out that with which you sustain your own life for the hungry and satisfy the need of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in darkness, and your obscurity and gloom become like the noonday.
And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy you in drought and in dry places and make strong your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not.

I
love studying history and have learned a lot about the Transatlantic Slave Trade working with my Dad. I am a modern-day abolitionist and I pray for the ending of abortion and human trafficking.

I am on a journey, to seek God's face, and to know His thoughts, so that I can serve Him, and serve Him with my whole heart, and never turn from His presence. I want to serve my Heavenly Father in whatever way I can... Right now, I'm looking at getting my teaching certificate, so that I can go teach children in third world countries (Africa or India or wherever the Lord calls me, who knows, it might be in my own town or somewhere in the USA)

I also love horseback riding, filmmaking (my dad is a filmmaker), ballet, lyrical dance and hanging with my family. Some of my favorite books are, "The Bible" by God and a few men He had write it, "Do Hard Things" by Alex and Brett Harris, "Red Moon Rising" by Peter Gregg, "Chronicles of Narnia" by CS Lewis, "Anne of Green Gables" by Lucy Maud Montgomery, just to name a few...
