...Will get you a half-hour photo session with three holiday backdrop options and a fifteen minute proofing/editing session. Photos will be uploaded to a secure website (or, if preferred, a CD for an extra $5). Then you can print them out (Costco’s a great deal) and send them to awaiting family and friends!

The moon was the closest it's been to the earth in 20 years last night, so my dad and I went down to the beach and had some fun taking photos, using long exposure :) (These pictures were all taken after dark, between 8:30-9pm)

Nope, this isn't the sunrise, it's the moonrise :)

Here are a few pics of my youngest cousins that I was able to see for the first time over Christmas break. They live in Kansas City, MO, so we don't see them that often... It was so much fun to hang out with family and friends :) It was a good break :)

A White Thanksgiving!

So... I don't ever remember a white Thanksgiving, we barely ever get a white Christmas! Had an amazing day cooking (from 6am-1:30pm!) then eating, till I almost burst, watched, "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" then dessert (the best part, right?) And.. tomorrow were going to an ulitmate frisbee game at some friends house- and more food!

For the last two months I have been working on a film project titled, "The Adventures of Joshua Clay" Check out our website for more info (link at end of post)

Here is the synopsis:

Tucked within the shadowy landscape of a 150-year old Washington town, racial tensions brew as the events surrounding a mysterious death tear away the curtain that has concealed this small town's hidden secrets. Folklore and legend can no longer explain what lies in the woods surrounding their community. Local residents point the finger of suspicion in all directions. Blood lines thicken, friendships are challenged, and love is put to the ultimate test. The secrets dividing this town for well over a century must now be brought to light, but nothing could have prepared them for the truth.

Within only days of their arrival, 14 year-old Joshua Clay and his family become the target of suspicion. Recently forced to relocate from Seattle, the Clay's settle onto an inherited property on the outskirts of town. But they soon learn that everything hiding in the shadows will be brought to light as they are thrust into the spotlight of surfacing tensions, strange encounters, and heated accusations.

However, there is a divine interaction as the kingdom of heaven approaches this seemingly forgotten town. This illusive tragedy drives the Clay family to the crossroads of their faith. Will they have eyes to see the mysterious activity of an invisible God? Where will their faith lie when natural explanations can possibly shatter all they've hoped to be true? As the family draws closer to each other and clings to the beliefs they hold so dear, they will discover that the God of the scriptures is the God of the supernatural.

The pilot episode propels the unique origins of the Clay Family through a gauntlet of mysteriously extraordinary events. In the face of doubt, the journey of their faith must survive the accusations of their family's history. Can forgiveness redeem their wounded past or do some scars run too deep? One thing is certain, their lives will never be the same.

As we peer into the life of Joshua Clay we discover a struggle not unlike our own; the search for genuine answers, the fight for justice, and ultimately the need for truth that will not fail in the face of scrutiny. His past has been our past, his doubts have been our doubts, his search has been our search. As unexplained events unfold in non-traditional storyline, we witness the reconciling power of God's love to transform a town pleading for it's past to be forgotten, sow forgiveness in the lives of the broken, and equip a generation to walk in the truth of biblical signs and wonders. Joshua’s discovery is our only hope...

Fall, the time of year that you pull out your warm cloths, start making more hot bevergers and light more fires in your fireplace. Its when you see fog and frost and sun... The leaves start turning deep reds, oranges and yellows... Its the time of year when family members gather around and talk of old family memories. Its the time of year that kids are in school and are busy with sports- Its the time of year that you can snuggle up with your favorite book, and read- And Its the perfect time to fall more in Love with the Maker of this magical looking place- His name is Creator, Father, Prince of Peace, King of Kings, Mighty One, Beloved, more commonly know as God- the list of His names could go on- but He is looking for you to come to Him. It is a time that you can take out your bible and dive into the deep places with your Heavenly Father.

I had the privileged of being able to photograph the Uganda Orphans Choir performing for the opening act of the Seattle Sounders vs DC United soccer game, sadly the sounders lost 2-3....

The Uganda Orphans Choir is part of Childcare Worldwide, they provide hurting children in many countries with food, clothing, schooling and school supplies, it cost only $1.16 a day to change a child's life (coffee drinkers, that is less then most coffees you buy today...) Its not that much, if you would like to sponsor a child, go to www.childcareworldwide.org

My Dad, Grandma, and I went to the Seattle (world famous) Space Needle for dinner :) It was amazing (Thanks dad and grandma for a wonderful night) the only thing missing, was my beautiful mother- who had to stay at home with the all the other kiddos :) If anyone goes there for dinner- the seafood pasta is AMAZING!

Wilberforce was a abolitionist working to end a huge problem in his world- the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade (1600-1800s). And he did play a huge role in ending it. Now... there is a huge problem facing our generation: Abortion- yes abortion. It is ending the life of millions of babies every year and I am not just going to sit around and watch. I want to be like Wilberforce and help to END abortion in my nation- and around the world. I don't want my grandchildren to ask me, "Why do people not want to keep their babies?" My dream is that abortion won't even be legal. IF I had been alive in the times of slavery- my home would have been a "safe house"- for the underground railroad. I would have risked my life to save others. But I was born into a generation that accepts killing in the womb- just like so many accepted slavery. Doesn't our Constitution say that "All men are created equal"? The abolitionists argued this back in the 1800s, and I say it again: WE ARE ALL CREATED EQUAL! That means that we should respect all life-
